Love Will Bring You Back

A New Song

Wrote this and recorded it last night, recorded the vocals this morning.

Danny Milligan - Love Will Bring You Back

I saw the look in your eyes
soon as it happened, baby
your breath was taken from you
there’s no mistaking how you
Came back to life
the fire’s burning, baby
your heart is pounding, there ain’t
no gettin’ round it

hey, yeah, the moment that your lips touched mine
our hearts have beat together, we know it’s now or never

Love will bring you back, to a place you never thought you’d be
Love will guide your steps, until you’re walking next to me
Don’t say that it’s just a coincidence
Cuz love will bring you back, baby to where I’ve always been…

I feel your hand touching mine
and it’s electric, baby
This dream goes on forever
and it keeps getting better
all of the time
that you are near me, baby
I need to touch you, so you’ll
feel how I love you

hey, yeah, when you’re whispering my name
I found the love I’m missing, can’t wait until we’re kissing

(Guitar Solo)

The timing issues are really distracting for me.

The timing issues are really distracting for me.

... think? :D

That’s a shame dannyraymilligan:

I’m only able to download 176 kbs of that file…
I wish I could get more of it…

It doesn’t allow me to hear all of the opening intro…

[I’ll try later… to see if I can download more of it)

Only gettin’ a couple of seconds at this end, Danny.

I think the timing issues are with the odd vocal patterns that I wrote for this song (plus my singing, lol!) Here is the original master track (minus the 2nd distorted guitar) so you can see that the timings aren’t as off as the vocals make them sound. Anyone who wants to try putting their own slant to singing this is welcome…

Love Will Bring You Back Master Track

Like all your songs Danny i feel they have great potental & wish youd spend more time on them!
the rhythm guitar keeps moving away from the beat.
you write like a man in a tearing hurry, slow down, again youve written a really good song but neglected to lavish some love on it. I know you say there all like sketches but…

To the folks who are having trouble downloading my files, I am in the middle of negotiating with Hosting24, and I’m starting to feel like I’ll have to move everything over to yahoo to get dependable service… Yahoo costs twice as much, but I suppose that’s what the end result will be.

What’s up with the vocals? They seem very buried and heavily effected. It just seems washy. Also, while the vocals may be off time, the entire arrangement is not locked in which I think is what Pops is referring to.

Went back in and redid most of the guitars and vocals, let’s see how this comes out, will be uploading it soon…

As far as the vocals, the only effects are a delay at .026 seconds for a doubling effect, EQ to cut some of the midrange out of my voice, and the Ambience 2 preset on n-track reverb. If my voice sounds weird, it’s because it IS weird, but it’s the only one I have, so I’m stuck with it…

Okay, the redo is uploaded to the server, you should be able to access it from the first link.

As far as what my website is saying, let me post some of this stuff to you guys…

I keep my music that I have recorded in my studio on this site, and I (and many others) have been dealing with a problem where the site suddenly STOPS sending a file in the middle of the song. I was assured by your site when I upgraded from the free version to the paid version that there was 99% uptime, but this does NOT fit that description!

Must I go back to paying twice as much at Yahoo in order to get the service I was promised?

We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience caused. Could you please tell us what is the average file size of the songs that are uploaded?

Thank you for the question and good luck.

The files that are going incomplete are usually between 8 and 14 megabytes, but I’ve had ones as small as 3 megs that crapped out on me.

Hello Danny,

For security reasons we do not allow FTP clients to be connected to the server for more than 2 minutes without any activity. To avoid this time-outing issue please upload all files at once.
Please understand that allowing users to stay connected for more time would overload the server and cause slower server speed.

Contact us for a consultation or with any additional questions you may have.

Thank You,

These people are CLICKING ON LINKS TO MY FILES, AND THE FILES ARE CRAPPING OUT BEFORE THEY ARE TRANSFERRED! They are NOT using an ftp client, they are merely downloading the songs… this is the ONLY time I’ve ever had this issue, and now I’m wondering if prepaying 3 months wasn’t a mistake that I’ll have to correct and go back with a provider that ACTUALLY PROVIDES THE SERVICE WITHOUT EXCUSES!!!
