firewire network questions
I network my computers over a firewire network.
I know there’s a program out there to allow midi to pass over a 10/100 network, so is there one to pass it over firewire? From what I understand about the different network protocalls firewire should be better suited for it.
Allong with that, is there anything that allows streams of audio to be passed over firewire between two computers. Perhaps something that functions as virtual soundcards on each end (audio out on one connects to audio in on the other)?
If there’s something out there already let me know. If someone wants to develope it they can do so without paying me as long as I get a copy!
