How do I get a persitent delay?

I’m trying to create a some midi clips with Crystal synthesizer plugi-in. I have a delay set to continue at the end, but when I play it back, the delay gets chopped off. Is there a setting to prevent this from happening.

I guess I could render the midi clip to a wave file without delay, then add it in afterward, but I would prefer to keep the midi delay.

I need some help fast. My son needs the clip for a video project by tomorrow.

TRY THIS - after the last note of your MIDI track add 10 or more notes with 0 (zero) velocity - ie they do not sound but they will keep the timeline running so you hear the delay from the crystal synth
