I have a quick question. When recording guitar in through my audio interface, is there a way within n-Track iOS to take that mono input and record it as a stereo track? I realize I can easily duplicate the mono track, but I would like to have a stereo WAV file Which can make better use of some of the n-Track effects. In my case, my audio interface is a Motu M2.
You don’t need to record a stereo track to process in stereo, you can use the ‘expand to stereo’ button in the track’s mixer to make n-Track expand the track to stereo before feeding the track signal to the insert effects. See the screenshot below:
If for some reason you still want to have a stereo wave file, you can use the “bounce” command after the recording to create a stereo wav.
