anyone ever done this?
I’ve been kicking around the idea of making a video to go with one of the songs I’ve recorded. Maybe to post on YouTube or something. Has anyone else here done this? Willing to share some tips?
Watch other music videos you like, paying attention to cuts and how they fit in with the beat.
Measure scene lengths, zooms, pans, and compare them to music tempo.
In other words, see how good music videos make the rhythm of the images part of the rhythm of the music.
Do the same with yours, and you’re halfway there. 
PS, but don’t get too carried away with fast pans, fast zooms, or too much fast cutting, or you’ll make the viewer seasick.
