Hey TomS:

I’m all taken up with that mic he’s got aimed at his guitar…
Any ideas????

Bill…

Yet again, give me enough Skittles and Mountain Dew and I can do that.

Question is; why would you want to?

A d@#n 15 year-old PUNK can play that mess...

Bill..

Yes, it's an EV Cardinal, LD condenser. I have a pair, use them for drum overheads. Really great mic at a low price. Here:

Boy…
Interesting…

I should get me one of them and plug it into my VocalMaster…
See how she works…
:p
???

Really…
I’ll bet that mic works, like a charm…
in the studio…

I can remember back in the early '60’s doing Jingles…
There was this mic they used on us…
We were positioned around this according to how the engineer positioned us, and told us not to move our amps on threat not to get any more work…
The mic looked like one side of a dynamic headphone ear-cup that had a metal diaphragm…
Remember, those C-Clamps ????

Bill…

One of these? (kidding!)

Hi TomS:

NO…
But, I’d buy that mic in a heartbeat…
I’d knock the socks of that Cambell’s Soup Can, with Cod Twine mic I’m using now…
:)
:p
:agree:

If I had one of them mics, I’d try real hard and come Out-Front and do a Vocal song and post 'er up here for some comments…
hehe…

Might be a start to a Late/New/Career…

Bill…

I know this guy locally who collects and restores old recording technology. He made a whole record with a wax cylinder recorder. Did another on a wire recorder. I wonder if he has one of these in working order? There’s one in our historical museum, a couple of blocks from here. Every I visit and walk past it, I think…hmmm…how many cameras are trained on me at this moment?

Here’s what happened over in one of the Tim’s Coffee Shops, down the street…

The evening before Veterans Day… The Poppy display, was robbed… It was on the security Camera setup… The guy ordered his coffee and before he left, he waited till the counter girl left the counter area and he robbed the counter Poppy Display with the coin collection box… The deed was shown on the local news TV broadcast… How Petty… :) :p Anyway, get that mic… Tell’em you’re doing a track that requires that mic to make the track authentic…

Tell’em I Said-So… :) :p
