I'd love to make some customized ones for my expandable Roland modules.
I hear it's possible, just have no clue as to how to go about it, something with eproms I'm sure.
anyway I think this is a great topic considering they fixed the inserted "silence" on loop playback in v7, or so it is said, I haven't actually tried it yet.

Well, I still maintain that a pro job would not include clipped samples.
More particularly, some of the samples have max values a couple of times in a row, and this can cause nasty distortion in a playback device, if it doesn’t have enough headroom.
I do appreciate freebies, and I applaud what the folks in the company are trying to do.
As for the banter that used to happen here, good riddance, I say!
