n-Track collaboration.
A collaboration between fellow n-Track user Michael Lombardi who wrote and played the music and myself, who wrote and sung the words. Any comments are welcome,
Cheers,
Ian

Eyup!
Ah, a good sleazy blues song. One for the boys.
Definitely a thumbs up

Cool tune guys. Good job playing and singing. Organ solo is great!
Maybe a little work on the mix, more seperation may help.
I’ve got the blues when it comes to mp3’s!
2 thumbs up here,
Yaz
Cool. I hestitate to express a couple of small quibbles, but…in the intro, the solo guitar is too low for my taste - it needs to be in your face, IMHO. And I’d bring up the organ solo at around 2:00 as well. Any way to make the snare “crack” more, change the balance of the drums? The hihat is just a tad too loud for me, too, and a bit repetitive. The lyric is great.
But then again, what do I know?
But then again, what do I know?
Er...quite a lot mate? The spademan hit factory songs are in my car permanently, in fact was listening to them on my way home at 2am this morning

Thanks for the comments, constructive as ever. I agree that the drums could do with a little life. The keyboard solo was a last minute addition to fill a gap between the verses. Anyway the main thing for me is that it was fun to collaborate on it,
Thanks for listening,
Ian
Yaz…
I know what you mean about mp3s, would be nice to link to a wave file…
Beefy…
I knew you would appreciate the slightly sleazy element. Written of course from hearsay, not personal experience
Groovy! Consider adding a bass part and eq’ing the snare and bass drum to give it more bluesy drive and bottom. Singing is great!
