Says panel investigating CBS
Richard Thornburgh, a former Attorney General, is about as conservative as you can get. He says & I quote:
|We didn’t find any political agenda on the part of any of the people involved in this. There were a lot of other news organizations following the story. We did find, however, an insensitivity to appearances…It was a dreadful mistake to be sure, but we didn’t find that there was an intention to further the political interest of the candidate.|
The right was salavating when Thornburgh was appointed to head the CBS investiagation, but now some of them are bad mouthing him, because they didn’t like what he said.
The right’s reaction to the original CBS story is typical of how they think & the lies that spread, i.e., that all the press is liberal biased, etc., etc.
Too bad this time guys.
Thats good news for CBS I suppose. I still say the media is biased though.
Just look at the Williams case. He was “biased” by a big wad of cash! YOUR cash too!
Come on Mike, you know the mere hint of these documents gave Rather a hard on that no Viagra-like pill could come close to providing…
