My projected heating bill this winter is gonna be close to 4,000.00 this winter… My property tax account this year is better than 1700.00 That really cuts into my Needs-Wants-and-Must/Haves… I got a street light and a fire hydrant… The kids rocked the street light the other night… There goes the light… 
I’m gonna build this studio, I hope the ground gets broke before the frost sets in… I was promised it would be started during week three of August… I should have built it 10 years ago… It would have been twice the size and half the price…

Hwy 111 it is. I seldom have any reason to go to Sparta, but pass through there on my way to Cookeville or points east every now and then.

I know people in Soddy Daisy… There’s some nice country-side in-and-around there…
and toward McMinnville…
When I was last there the hwy 111 was under construction…
and came to an end on the way toward I-24…
It seemed to come to an end just south of Sparta…
If I remember.
Cookville has the Big FM Radio Station… It covers all of the South…
Well, that’s what it seems like…
I was coming out of Florida, one trip…
I had to get off the Highway…
I couldn’t go another mile…
I put up in Manchester…

My one reason for going to Sparta

When I’m on the road and I happen to get into towns that are new-to-me, I have my antenna up for music stores…
I never spent a lot of time up-and-down the streets of Sparta, but If I had, I’m sure I would have had a peek around that place…
That’s a shame, I missed that shop…
That central area of Tennessee is known for great Bluegrass Music…
and all the acoustic instruments of that flavor of music…
I’m not real close to that style of music… However, they come from all over the country for Bluegrass Week in Smithville…
I think it’s the end of June first of July…
