Could someone tell me how to get the drums to record on a track?
Im talking about the VST drums in N-track . Thank you
Rick,
I don’t use n-track drums but I remember several threads about the subject in the last few months. Try a forum search and see what you come up with.

If you mean how do you render (bounce) the n-track drums Vsti into a wav track then there are several ways… first up VSti tracks will appear in a mixdown file anyway (so there is no need to actually convert them to a wav). However if you want a wav for other reasons (eg to minimise system loading) you could “Freeze” the track, or solo the drum track, do a mixdown and import the resultant wav back into n-track.
.
Theres got to be a simple way.

Isn’t that simple?
Theres got to be someone to just give a step by step description. I wrote an email to the company guys and I will e-mail back when I get the answer. What is the purpose for the drum machine if you can’t record… a really nice metronome.?
If you want the drums to be included in your mixdown with the other tracks then you do a mixdown. They will be there (as long sa you haven’t muted the drum tracks…)
If you just want to create a wav(s) of the drum tracks only, then mute all other tracks and do a mixdown and you will get the drums as wavs if you want to edit them or whatever.
That’s basically it…
What steps are you currently taking and what result are you getting that is wrong?
Rich
Thanks
Isn’t that what I said?
