I just upgraded from my super old N-Track 3.3 to N-Track 5.1.1 and I’ve already encountered a strange problem.
Maybe someone could help, as I’ve never had this issue previously.
I have a mono input on my computer - in the old version, it would just show up as a single wav file with one band of audio (instead of the two for those with stereo input).
Now when i record, it records two tracks - one with audio on it and one that it blank.
I adjusted it from two stereo tracks recorded in the recording settings to “mono” - but now it plays an octave higher and sped up.
The same thing happens if I select regular “stereo”.
But when I record with the default of two mono inputs, the audio sounds normal.
That would be fine, but having two wav files show up, one of which that is blank, is kind of annoying.
Any suggestions?
btw I’m new here and I apologize if my wording here is kind of vague or not specific enough, ha ha.
hi Andy and welcome to the forum.
Using WDM, Asio, ? ? ?
You can leave it on the 2 mono inputs, click on the red button at the bottom of the record VU meter, Left or right channel click don’t record to a new track. Should have only one track recorded then.
