Recording vu meter problem

Showing non-existant signals…?

Hi, I recently upgraded from version 4 to 5 I’m finding in the new version that the recording vu meter occasionally shows a large signal on one of the channels which is not really there. If I restart nTrack the “signal” goes away, or reappears at a different volume on another channel. At times more than one channel is affected. I know it’s not a real signal as (a) I can’t hear anything and (b) the sound card’s own metering doesn’t show anything.

Anyone else having this problem?

I’m running XP and my soundcard is a StAudio C-Port.
