to limit the spam and trolling?
I love the new look,
But did not Flav say this new format was supposed to limit the spamming and trolling that has been abundant lately?

Very true Jerm, but just think, with all this Spam we could feed the starving peeps of the world! 
Yes - it’s really bad. I haven’t hung out here much lately because I’m moving but when I do come the spam is fierce.
Well if it is any consolation they just busted one of the top ten spammers, I saw it on ESPN today! lol
I wonder if that will reduce the amount here?..I think it was email spam though…DOPE!

Hi Gents:
I read into the post that Flavio did when the Board returned that He was gonna install the board as a temporary board till a new version became available… This new Board would address the security that would be needed by his server for this spam issue… or Something to that effect…
I stand corrected on this but help me out here… guys…

Is that the reason I can’t log in any more Bill? Or is it Vista again? I have no clue.

Everyone who has posted on this thread looks like they are “Logged” in to the board… At least on this end, they are…
I recognize most of the Board members that are unable to log in but some I don’t…
Not being able to log-in is frustrating, though… I remember that and I’ve been there before… many/several times over the Board Builds… I’ve changed my ID/Handle a few times over the years…
I’m sure that some of the posters who are unable to log-on just stop posting, as a result of being unable to log-in…
It would be nice if the guys who are unable to log-in would type their ID/Handle’s on their replies… I like reading their posts and what’s occupying their thoughts, from day-to-day…

I’m using a different link TomS posted in another thread. If I try to log on from the link on the web page, it says welcome YazMiester, then, it views me as a guest. Will not let me post as Yaz the spaz. Yaz the Spaz, now I like that!

It’s whatever link you can find that’ll log you on… I still believe that Flavio will update the Board again when a new version /build of Ikonboard comes out… Supposidly, it’ll fix the spammers…
It may very well be a different bunch of us that’ll be unable to log-in… We’ll see…
I hope the “After-the-Post” editing will be fixed…
