Hi,
In case people here did not know, Poppa (Tommy) Willis lost his battle with cancer yesterday. Here is his son’s announcement on FB:
"As many of you may know, today I lost my idol, my rock, my father. Poppa, Tom left us peacefully in his sleep, and he is at rest, in heaven and suffering no more. His services will be on Tuesday, April 22nd at noon, at his church r.m.c.m., with a reception to follow at the Fred field building. Thank you all for the love you shared with my dad and all the thoughts and prayers for our family. Mary Willis-Riddle, Poppa’s daughter."
I didn’t know Tommy very well but I could tell he was a blessed person who will be sorely missed by family and friends.

I didn’t know Poppa very well, he helped me with n-Track when I first started using it. He was always willing to help me out. I had a terrible time getting n-track to work with my system back then but Poppa helped get it running and for that, I was very grateful. I would like to extend my sincerest condolences to Poppas family and friends.

Poppa gave us a lot of feedback on n-Track and his contribution to the forum was very much appreciated.
His enthusiasm was instrumental in organizing a recording contest a while ago.

Sad news. A good man. Amazing musician.
I am saddened at the news. I wish we had actually met. He was a welcome and helpful contributor to this site and I enjoyed his music.

Thats sad news, he was a big part of our group here at NTrack.
My prayers are with him and his family and friends…We will miss you Pappa ,and never forget you.
Gutted I only heard the news a couple of weeks ago.
What a great, great man. Helped me sooo much I could never thank him enough.
Every now and then I’d get an email from him…just to say he was thinking of me.
Always there for me. Always giving. Never asking for anything in return.
Poppa you will be sorely missed.
