Save Loop Points?

Hi, I am using Android version 10 on my phone. I have been importing these little audio loops, 4 or 8 bars, for me to play sax over as backing tracks. I am not using any Grid. I use about 4 to 6 tracks, drums on one track, bass, keys, guitar, etc, then I set the loop points with the blue loop point indicators and I engage Loop in the transport section and hit play. I can play over it as it loops and I enjoy playing with the mix in real time, bringing things in and out to keep the groove interesting.

On some songs, at a certain point I like to release the Loop in the transport section and let the song play out the rest of the way. The issue I encounter is that I don’t know how to save the Loop points. The only way I know to get them back after releasing the Loop is by hitting the Undo button. But this will undo anything that I have changed after I disengaged the Loop button. Is there a way to save the loop so I can easily pull it up again? Because I am not on a grid, so I have to zoom in very carefully to set the loop points, and it is not convenient to have to do that all the time. I am enjoying using N-Track, but I need this aspect to be efficient, as I will be using it for busking with my sax and a small speaker. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! -Jon

When you press the loop button in the lower transport bar to turn the loop off, and then later turn it back on, it will remember the last loop region, unless you manually changed the current selection.
You can create two markers on the time axis to remember the selection/loop region. To create a marker, position the playback cursor, then tap on the yellow rectangle, then select the time location (e.g. “4:1:000”, then “place Marker here”.
Once you have the markers, you can long press on the time axis between the markers, select “Select between markers”, and then turn on the loop button.

Excellent Flavio, I appreciate the timely response. This helps a lot. The app is very very good. I am amazed that a DAW app on a small smartphone can be this good. Grazie!
