Unable to find…
Hi All:
I have this habit of threading off topic all-the-time…
Anyway, bubbagump has been eluding to this application called DropBox…
I have been using this Utility/Program for some 30-45 days, now…
Gents, this application is looking better-and-better every time I use it in my setup…
My problem/issue I have with my setup is…
I have three computers that I use, that has two operating systems in two locations…
An extra building (studio) with two computers One a dual processor Vista and a P-4 XP machine…
then a dual processor Vista machine in the house…
Anyway, these machines have a real problem communicating with each other…
The two in the studio work fine…
The one in the house don’t like the two in the studio…
But this DropBox
seems to fix all the issues, on my LAN…
as well,
this application allows me to collaborate with projects over the Internet send huge files to whoever…
and backup current files between machines that don’t like each other on my LAN…
On a Thread up here TomS and I discussed potential securities that might be a negative to using this application…
So Far, security doesn’t appear to be a factor…
I’m not one to promote any particular application and/or computer programs…
BUT…
This program works great for potential Music users, in most-if-not-all departments…
The FREE version allows for up to 2 Gigs of data…
BUT…
if you invite your friend and potential installer/users you can get an additional 256 megs of storage for free and in addition to your 2 FREE Gigs of space…
What’s wrong with sharing that within the n-Track Board-and-users of n-Track and DropBox 
?
