spam eggs sausage and forums
Something about most of the recent spam posts on this board make me think it is a robot / software auto-spammer. I wonder if turning off the ability to post anonymously and force registration would help alleviate it. At least then the spammer could be banned and forced to re-register under a new email. That’d be a shame to do but, like telemarketers, once you’re in the system it’s probaby near impossible to get out. Just a thought.
As a side note, I still scratch my head and wonder how posting long lists of hyperlinked crap can be at all effective… Somewhere, someone must click them. I guess.
I’m sure there’s a way to track this poster down… I’m sure that the server and Flavio is working on this… After the Board got rebuilt and Flavio posted a topic I thought he said something in his post that referred to installing a newer version/build of the Board’s software… It may not be available yet, but it’s on it’s way, I think…
