Subject: MIDI Quantization Options – iOS vs Desktop

Hello,

I’m using n-Track Studio on iPad and would like to know more about the MIDI quantization features available in the iOS version.

In the desktop version, MIDI quantization offers several parameters, including:

  • Notes Start / Notes End

  • Strength (partial quantization)

  • Swing

  • Randomize

  • Quantize Region / Excluding

However, in the iOS version I can only find the basic quantization function, which aligns MIDI notes to the selected grid.

Could you please clarify:

  1. Are these advanced quantization parameters currently unavailable in the iOS version?

  2. Is there any alternative way to access or adjust them on iPad?

  3. Are there plans to implement these features in a future iOS release?

In particular, I would find the Strength parameter extremely useful, as it allows partial quantization while preserving the natural feel of a live performance.

Thanks for the suggestion, we’ll add the advanced grid settings that are currently desktop only in one of the next updates for iOS and Android.
