Tempo Change for Wave Drum Loops

Hi – Is there a way to change the tempo of a drum loop on a wave file, or can this just be done with midi files? I have an Abelton program that can adjust tempos with wave files, but not seeing how that can be done with n-track.

I did try to change the tempo using the “tempo evolution” button, and also by sliding the BPM tool. Neither seem to have any effect on a wave file.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi.

You can’t do it in n-Track. You’d have to render the track in Ableton and then import into n-Track.

You can use n’s Tempo controls to change the tempo of a MIDI file but that’s something completely different.
