Triggering Drum Sounds?

Anyone do it?

So I recorded a band and am having a hard time making the kick and snare sound the way I want. Has anyone done drum triggetring with n-track? and if so… what did you use?

Yes and Yes.
It's a CPU eater though but it's a very cool plug.

Have you tried SFZ-player with NSKIT drumkit ? For free ?

there was some new plugin on harmonycentral a while back that allowed you to use your soundcard as a drum module-ie the input was turned into a midi signal and used to trigger the appropriate sound.

so if you have your bass and snare on separate tracks, run them out and then back into two inputs and trigger some samples.

I can’t remember the name right now… or how much…

Check out Toby Bear. I think they have a free plug that does the Drumogogue thing.
