Looks like you are on your way. :agree:

D

When you said you was re-doin’ the barn I thought you were joking - dang!

Oh ye of little faith

it’s that time of year, here, when it starts to drizzle and then it starts to throw it down and then it starts to blow the funkin’ house down…
and the footings are flooded - just as I was about to bang the mix in:-(

Heh… last November…

BOSS: “Why aren’t we pouring the concrete today?”

ME: "Well ‘duh’ boss. It’s raining!"

Next day…

BOSS: "Why aren’t we pouring the concrete today? It’s NOT raining!"

ME: "It’s too cold. We can’t pour if it’s below freezing. It won’t cure properly…"

REPEAT sequence for about a month…

D

PS I told 'em! “You guys screw around and wait until October/November to kick this pig, it ain’t gonna be done on time…”

Yup! That’s about the measure of it. Dry next week - and then the window starts to narrow, there on in. Bollox. Wish me look. Over. khkhkhkh…

Good look! I mean luck!

That is going to be awesome.

Oh ye of ‘much’ faith. Cheers, Tom - I’m blown away by the stuff you’re up to. Nice work, dude.

(my late Grandmother, once took her cat to the vet to be executed, because it **** in her shopping bag. when she got home she realized that it was a broken jar of curry sauce)

After you endure and tolerate the effort-and-energy, you’ll enjoy your studio all-the-more…

Any project worth doing draws a little blood…

The beatings will stop when the discipline improves…
Don’t make me come over there…

:p

What a nice place you’re gonna have…
:)
:agree:

Bill…

Darn Tony, hang in there buddy :agree:

Thanks Levi. Is that, darn or Barn?

At last look, I would describe it as a space. What a space! You’ve got it cleaned out and ready, good job man. Watch those fingers though I would be wearing any kind of gloves I could find. Also, looks like a nice rural area to be in. :agree:

That isn't what we need to be hearing from Canadians Bill or anyone for that matter.
As a society your supposed to (Canadians) be peaceful and high all the time!
Or so I've heard. What thaa???

My apologies go out to you TonyR…

That line (The beatings will stop when the discipline improves…
Don’t make me come over there…

) I added… (Don’t make me come over there…

) (for colour)
is from the movie Captain and Commander… Many of those shoots were photographed over here in the waters off Nova Scotia, so I understand…
It depicts life aboard a British Man-of-War when the oceans of the world were open to anything that could be imagined…

Your Room/Space is going to have acoustic qualities-and-behaviours that’s going to be tough to duplicate …
anywhere…

I’m thinking that instead of treating your space to dampen reflections you may have to consider treating your space/room to create acoustic reflections…

Anyway, it’s going to be nice…

Bill…

[EDIT] I hear you Levi… I’m just a Bluenoser… :)

Cheers guys. Bill! If your gonna come over, bring a shovel - the 4.5ton of earth I removed is to be replaced with; insulation, dpm, concrete and pine floorboards. Sadly, the sonically challenging rusticity of the walls is going to hidden behind insulated stud walling.
I hope someone has built a vst crackle-filter because I’m fitting a Klondike style log burning stove - bliss!
Yes Bill were in a remote part so annoying the nieghbours isn’t a problem. I’ve uploaded an external 360.

I hear you Levi..
I'm just a Bluenoser..
:)

bluenoser

Someone who comes from Nova Scotia. The phrase takes its name from the infamous Bluenose ship, a racing clipper which never lost a race. The Bluenose was built in Lunenburg, NS, and is featured on the Canadian dime. Bluenosers are not Newfies.

:agree:

I wasn't that serious or worried about it :D
I feel that any of us should, at the least, speak up to any off color statement.
If we think they are serious or not, just in case. Your a great guy Bill, I never worry about you!
I was really mostly teasing you.
I apologize too, just in case!

Thanks Levi…
We KnOw…
:agree:
One truck driver to another…

I’ll be meeting you at ramp,
234…
I’ll be checking out your CB Radio…
I got a bigger gun than you…
That’s what you hear up-and-down the southern Interstate Highways…
I don’t know if they’re for real or not…
AND…
the cussin’…

:p
:)
And the women drivers too…
They all seem to have dirt-in-their-mouths…
Maybe, I’m listening to the wrong channel…
Who knows ?

Bill…

Back Again:

My Mom’s Dad…
was a schooner fisherman…
He was a First mate, on many of them…
He sailed with the Bluenose, but never sailed on her…

The stories he told when I was a kid, were so vivid to him and his story-telling…
There were so many schooners lost to bad weather in those days…
No radios or radar or that kind of stuff…

Sable Island claimed hundreds of fishing schooners and thousands of men…
There was always the Marblehead MA to Lunenburg…
or…
was it Halifax race…
The Yanks always seemed to win that race till they built the Bluenose…

The saying was…
It’s either fish or cut bate…

:)
:p

The schooners had to qualify to run that race…
They had to land the biggest catch and do it in the shortest times…
Then the race was run…
