What did ya do fer yer sweetie?
Got to get away from politics. What did you do for your sweetie for Valentines day, something? Anything?
I surprised the wifey this morning by dropping in to her school with a dozen red roses. The look on her face was nuff said.
I took her out to dinner last night. Man - I didn’t realize that we needed to have reservations to find a seat at any restaurant in town. We did finally find a place.
Mr Soul
Yaz…you big sentimental sap you. (Hope you get some…)
I sent the wifey some flowers. Sent some to the Mother In-Law too. My father in-law died the day after Christmas year before last ('03) and her dead-beat, worthless, piece of white trash son is in prison…so I can’t stand to see the dear lady go without something special on Valetines Day. So, I guess I’m a big sap too.

I gave her a house, heat, food, electricity, and a pack of cigarettes.
She’s not into flowers or anything like that. She’s one of those rare breeds that’s just happy being together and healthy.–and I love her for it,
Oh yeah, and a big fat sloppy kiss before I headed out today,
Happy Freakin’ Vday girl!

I took her out to lunch at the nicest restaurant in our small town - slim pickings 'round here. They messed up her order and it took an hour (no exaggeration) from ordering to delivering. But, it was the thought that counted (I’m told) and we enjoyed grumbling together. The management decided not to charge us, so really it wasn’t that bad
Valentines day was special for me. Mrs Palmer brought a friend.

I heard that they had to take turns for lack of space...

Not bad, not bad. I’m going to add that line.
Used that joke after a fight broke out at our gig sat night, which I named our Valentines day gig.

“Rosie you’re alright
You wear my ring
When you hold me tight
Rosie that’s my thing
When I turn out the light

Looks like it’s me n you again tonight
Rosie” Mr. Jackson Browne!

Actually TG,
Todd's (one of my local hero's) still recording and preforming.
He just had a show last Nov. at a local hang out "Croc Rock"
He's pretty much on the smaller tour circut along with the many washed up 80's hair bands.
Todd, let’s see, some of me favorite LP’s, Todd album for sure, A Wizard A True Star, most definately, any Utopia lp’s, even Runt, with Soupy Sales son’s Tony and Hunt. We gotta get you a woman…
Jackson still does an acoustic tour thing, came thru Greensboro couple years back, had chance to get free tix, wife got very ill on me and didn’t get to go!
Utopia (the first one, but the second live thing is good too in its own way)

Wizard A True Star
YES!
This is an electrified fairy tale…
