I am recordiing the second track with electric guitar input. I hear the two in balance, and see the VU meter at a good level. But the recorded waveform is extremely low. How do I adjust waveform size?
You can make a waveform bigger with the ‘Part volume’ knob in the part properties box, that appears right clicking on the waveform and selecting ‘Properties’. This will increase the part volume both visually and audibly.
However if the recorded waveform is low, it would be better to fix this before recording by increasing the input level gain on the audio interface (and in case this makes the track too loud on the output, decrease the track volume slider).
