problems
The only time I can log into this forum is immediately after I (re) register. I have been registered for years, but now the message board says “thanks for logging in, jasco(x)”
But then returns me to a guest page that doesn’t allow me to post.
The only way I’ve been able to get in is to re-register.
Am I doing something wrong?

Try deleting cookies in your browser. It has helped some folks.
Also try allowing popups for this page. That’s what did it for my login problem.

Some folks have had to email Flavio. He’s been able to recreate some accounts so no account history is lost. That seems to fix problems that nuking cookies and changing security settings does fix. There’s (possibly) a few bugs in the forum software that recreating accounts seems to avoid.
I haven’t posted here in a while, but saw this thread and logged on. The software remember me and let me post.

Switching from IE7 to Opera (in my case) let me log in again.
I’m too lazy to dig too deep into my IE settings, so I just tried another browser I already had installed.
Flavio reset/rebuilt my account to no avail with IE7 but I was in with Opera a few minutes before he got that far.

Anyway, I was able to login using Firefox. But I still cannot login when using IE7.

Reluctantly, I upgraded to IE 7 …
During the upgrading process I got hit with everything…
It stressed my setup beyond anything I could imagine…
I ended up having to buy Panda Virus+Firewall 2008…
It appears that many of the IT Boards are pointing their users toward this utility…
That is…
if you can’t fix it yourself…
I’m still learning how this Panda, as it applies and works on this setup I have here…
Some of them (the IT Guys) suggested I re-format and rebuild the operating system…
However, I’m not very good at doing that, either…
As a result I think I saved replacing my C Drive…
I still need to do some Tweeking yet, with this Panda Utility…

Hey guys. How are my n-track buds doing lately? I’m an ADAT guy now, I have 40 tracks of ADAT with an HD24, an XT and a Blackface. Just did a location recording last weekend for my older brother’s rock cover band and am mixing the tracks on the laptop this week. My own band is gigging around the area.I don’t have a web presence currently, but in a matter of days the new web host will activate the band site at http://nick-of-time.org and you can check out the new demo we did.
