Native Delta 1010LT ASIO driver issue

This issue has come up before, but I’ll post anew since it seems to be an N v6 issue (never had the problem in v5, or pre build 2390). The M-audio supplied drivers (ASIO) produce a hideous white noise problem when recording. The actual recording seems to progress without issue, but the resulting WAV files are nothing but a smear of white noise.
When I switched to ASIO4ALL drivers, the noise disappeared but a new issue arose - the recording seemed to work, but playb—ack was—routine—ly chop—ped up l—ike this!
I didn’t check the WDM drivers - it was getting late.
Is this a bug that has crept back into nTrack?
ASIO4all (2.9beta is the latest) ia a ‘wrapper’ for WDM drivers.
It makes WDM behave like ASIO.
If WDM drivers are buggy, ASIO4all won’t cure them (I believe).
I have read elswhere that re-installing your soundcards drivers (WDM)
may fix some problems. I have had to do it with the SB drivers
many times.
Flavio is working on a problem with some ASIO drivers, that seems to happen with some computers. My desktop runs ASIO fine, the same drivers on my laptop produce the problem you are having.
Please send him the information on your equipment using the Support form and attach the log.txt file from
Documents and Settings/Username/Application Data/nTrack Studio6 folder

I’m running Line6 UX2 Aiso driver on a Labtop, playback is choppy as hell. but increasing the buffers seems to help but it should be better than having to increase the buffers more than half in the toneport hardware section, since albeton lite there is no chop at all at default.
I suggest increasing the buffer (ASIO4ALL) till it stops, however the trade off is more latency. One thing worth noting, even though my main system which is in my sig, I do not have to adjust he default tone port settings at all. It runs smooth as silk with N-Tr V6. The laptop is running vista 32 bit duel core 2.56ghz (requires moderate buffering) and my main is 4.0ghz duel core WINXP Pro SP3.

BUild 2394 was posted and is designed to correct this. I just downloaded it, so I can’t report yet. Check it out.

I would try as Bax suggested with the new build and use the soundcards asio drivers instead of asio4all. Also make sure your drivers are the latest released drivers.
You might try the WDM drivfers if the ASIO is flaky.
Hello all. It was a bug in nTrack that has been fixed as of the latest build. The native ASIO drivers work great now.
