Cream

Play Loud

ERic Clapton is a sinner. Jack Bruce is a sinner. Ginger Baker is a sinner and he has a beard. They will all burn in #### for all eternity. And so will every one who listens to there devil jungle music.

One more post Gidion and that will be post number 13. Sorry, but your going to blow up when that happens.

Ginger Baker doesn’t wear the beard. Eric Clapton has the only one day shadow of the bunch. Of course only us devil jungle music worshipers would have noticed.

I’m in heaven at the moment (watching my long time heros). May it last forever.

Yeah, baby, live Cream. Didn't the dvd go on sale today?

Clapton is God!

clapton is GODyour kidding no…kinda flipent no?..now you know who GOD is…clapton yeah right…what the phaq…

Mr. Snake you are showing your age, or lack of it. Clapton was god starting back in the 60’s. All it took was a spray can, a camera, and some good well spread publicity.

EDIT: Found a link with the picture:

and a bit of the story

I cant beleive what vile and foul SINNERS you all are on here. There is only one GOD. HIS SON could walk on water. HIS SON could cure the sick. HIS SON bruoght ETERNAL SALVATION to all decent people.
Eric Claptons son could only go !SPLAT!
And you will all burn in #### for all eternity.
And if you vote for Hillary Clinton there will be extra innings.
But probably no hot dogs.

HaHaHaHa!!

You really are a first class 'Merchant banker' Gideon!
BTW, the 'SPLAT' comment wasn't a very Christian thing to say. You will surely burn in #### for that. But don't worry cos the rest of us will all be there waiting. :D

Cheers from a vile and foul sinner (except on Sundays obviously)

Very diplomatic Mike, does that mean you like it or not :D

I had to do that one, as it’s probably my favourite song of all time.

Steve

It’s one of my favorites also.

It’s not that I didn’t like it, because I actually thought you did pretty well on it considering how good the original is. Are you planning on releasing it to the general public or was it just for fun? If the former, how close are you trying to make it to the original?

Eyup!

All my music is just for fun Mike and is posted on my website for anyone to share.
I did White Room about 3 years ago, not long after I first discovered NTrack and realised that, at last, I could actually start making music again. I never intended it to be an exact copy of the original, I’m not an Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker or a Jack Bruce. I just wanted to make a version of it for my own pleasure.

Steve

Based on that description, then I think it sounds pretty #### good - better than I could do.

From the Bruce Sweiden Book reviews on amazon.

Bruce Swedien is my father, August 29, 2005
Reviewer: Julie Swedien Johnson (Chicago, Il.) - See all my reviews
I am Bruce Swedien’s daughter and I grew up in recording studios watching him work. I was 8 years old when he recorded a Falstaff beer commercial with The Cream at Universal in Chicago. They were on break so I started banging on the drums. Ginger Baker, a heroin addict, came flying into the studio, screaming “Get off my drums, you little (expletive)”. I ran into the control room, crying, and a very kind man came in, handed me a pair of drumsticks, and said “It’s alright. Here, take these.” It was Eric Clapton. I have stories upon stories about Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Barbra Streisand, Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney, Donna Summer, Chaka Khan, The Chi Lites, Sergio Mendes, Franki Valli, Buddy Miles, Eddie Harris, and many more. Not only does my father’s book omit these legendary stories, he omits the very fact that he has three children; two daughters and a son. You really shouldn’t have done that, dad. The people want to know the truth.

Ooohhhh…I wonder what that one person that didn’t think that review was helpful was thinking? Or maybe that was dad. :)

Back to the Cream DVD…

Ginger Baker has always been my idol as a drummer. He’s the one that influenced me more than any other, and still does - always will. I’ve never seen him live and probably never will. My one big fear if I was ever to meet him was that I’d find out that he really was as big of an ass hole that he seemed like anywhere except when he was playing drums. That would be a huge bubble popper.

I’m very grateful that he didn’t come across that way on the new DVD…even if that’s still his real personality. All of them seem to have been humbled by time/age. That’s a very good thing.

I want to know if Ginger has dentures or did he get a full teeth transplant? As bad has he has always looked he looks better now than ever, even if he looks 20 years older than he really is…and he does look 20 years older than he really is.

I give the DVD a great big thumbs up. I don’t think any of them play with any spark that comes anywhere close to the way they have in the past but that doesn’t matter, not that expected them to. It makes me very happy that they were able to do those concerts after all this time and not kill each other in the process.

I was very surprised it was Eric Clapton that was the instigator. I figured he’d be the lone hold out, even if his motivation was to use this as a way to give some hint of new fame and money back to Ginger and Jack (who’s been ill recently). I will say I don’t think that had anything to do with it, but it is a logical thought if you know the history of the individual members of the band - Eric’s successes even though he was the least prolific songwriter of the bunch and a very reluctant vocalist back then – he had by far the most to loose if they didn’t pull it off – and the lack of mainstream commercial success of either Jack or Ginger.

This DVD is a MUST HAVE for any true Cream fan, but those that don’t remember the old days might be disappointed.

Of course, I’m in HOG HEAVEN! :)

I saw Jon Hiseman just a few years ago here in So. Cal. Phoo and he was ginger bakers replacment in the John Mayall band.
35 years later he still walked on stage with 2 arms and walked off stage with 2 arms. but when he played he had at least 8.
And despite the fact that he is a foul vile sinner he still kicked ass.
