Bill this is too near the truth to be funny.
My youngest has geckos & feeds them on crickets, they all escaped one night & set up home in the kitchen where they sang all day & night for 2 months till we could stand it no longer.
my husband was sure they were living in the dishwasher & put it out on the patio for 6 weeks in the middle of winter to kill them off. I HAD TO WASH EVERYTHING UP BY HAND FOR 5 WEEKS BEFORE HE’D BRING IT BACK IN!!

Our daughters have geckos. They feed them wax worms, i think they are called. They turn into these black beetles. We regularly have black beetles wandering around the house. they seem to like sinks.
