Yet another I did not write

and I still sing badly…

This is a song called “Weight of Summer” by my good friend, former bandmate, and massively talented musician/songwriter John Krivit, written about 25 years ago:

Hi John!
Yes, I know, I played the drums!

:D

Let me be the first to say,
"super!“
Somebody else posted that you’ve got a good voice and I concur. The more you drum the better you get. Real smooth guitar and keyboard mix, Good stuff.
(man, you’ve racked up 69 songs?!?!”

Nice Tom. Great song, voice and harmonies are excellent. The lead vocal seems to be a little buried when the harmonies come in, but I’m listening on phones at the moment so not certain.
Great song and you’ve done a very good job with it,
Cheers,
Ian

I’ve been “away” for a while Tom - I’ll check it out tonight when I can actually listen.

Good gracious guys, I’m singing out of tune all over the place on this one! :)

But I’ve always liked the song. Thanks for listening!

Well you know, some greats were out of tune all the time, puts you in some good company, Dylan , Lou Reed, Kev Boyle,… People, help me out here, who else sings out of tune with a great effect?

Neil Young? Frank Sinatra?

Finally got an un-disturbed listen Tom - I absolutely love your vocalization - always have. The up curls you naturally put on phrase endings with your unique added tremolo creates a style that’s instantly recognizable.
Such an easy listen - pound out another great one today.
