Been quiet today.
just finishing my song. and listening to some of the others.
I’m skint so I’m recording my present to the missus… 
Seems to be takin a fair bit of time…oh…and my accounts are two months late for my accountant…I’m catchin up…

Recession is now full blown here…
Been busy… Wife and youngest kid both sick. Family Doc couldn’t see them so I carried them over the “big city”. Had to wait two and half hours… Just got back. Ugh…

Seems everyone I know is either gettin’ sick or gettin’ over bein’ sick.
Yeah… I fought the crud for a month. It starts as just a head cold, then moves down to your chest and then your ears and throat hurt like I don’t know what… the cough lasts the whole time too… A blink’ MONTH! I pray nobody else gets it… It’s worse than a couple years ago when I had the flu. I got over that in about four days.

Been snowed in the last couple of days, except there was no snow yesterday (school canceled before the first flake). Got more than double today what they thought we’d get so it all evened out. No work or school tomorrow for sure. We aren’t built for snow around here. Too many hills and too little else to do anything about it.
If I can find my hooks I’m going to put up this thing I made to hang five guitars on. The hooks WERE there…I know they were. At least I have the rest.
Had to wait 2 1/2 hrs to see a doc, holy cow… I’m jealous…Here in Canada, don’t get sick boy, waiting times at our hospitals (universal health care), thats a city over 1 million with only 3 hospitals (one ER doc per), waiting times average minimum 12 up to 18 hours. People die waiting to see doctors here. $360 bucks, plus tax (5%) too, for an ambulance which by the way the paramedics insist/pressure you, to take their ride, whether or not you need to see a doc or not. “You should let the doctor check you out” even though you don’t need the ambulance in some cases, ie; fainting, hot flashes, fell down, drunk ect… ect… (Canadian Medi-care, what horse stools.)

Sorry PW, I’ve been in orientation all week with a new and different trucking company! Yea I got a big A day gig what a bumma. Oh well at least I had a fun vacation hanging out here with you cats, and doin music, that which we all love to do. Yeah, you cool cats! I’ll have my axe and my laptop so I’ll still be around. Oh yeah! I got an email from eSessions product manager Marc Rosenberg telling me not to go out and buy a mac computer. That vGlass upgrade has rendered it unusable in so many words. Big bummer there!
But on a brighter note! I’m telling you this to make a point. Pat Travers (boom boom, out go the lights) posted a comment on my “myspace page” just telling me to “keep rockin” Made me feel great. But my point is, the big shots are just like us, surfin the music, and they see you! So make it as good as it can be!

Chain up! Like they say if it’s so bad you need chains it’s time to park it. 80,000 lbs breakin loose on the wrong hill is a ride I sure don’t want to take. Besides it’s a good excuse to park and pick!
