I thought we southern red-necks had done a bang up job of wrecking the King’s English until this urban “dope” garbage took off. The wife was channel surfing the other night when I walked through the living room when she stopped on a “music” channel, probably VH-1. I stopped in and stared in awe at these guys wearing clothes that barely hung on their bodies with Mercedes Benz hub caps hanging from gold chains all over the place… I couldn’t understand a SINGLE word those guys were saying. Well… one word I could pick up on “Yo”. I can only assume that is used as a simile for “yes”?
