I record our band using a Behringer X32 and want to utilize the XLive card instead of having a laptop recording via USB. The XLive will record all 32 tracks as separate WAV files onto SD Cards. I would like to be able to import these files into a Template in n-Track rather than renaming each track, setting eq etc. I use templates a lot when recording. Is this possible? I couldn’t figure out a way last night and don’t see a similar topic in the forum.

Yes. I create a new Song with my named Tracks, set the desired effects into each track the way I want, audio and midi, or loops and sequencer tracks, metronome, etc. Then I name it Template 1, and when I want to add tracks I simply pull up that song and drag the files into the appropriate track.
I hope that helps.

I just tried that. When I drag the audio files over they create a new track, just like if I select the track and then Import Audio File it also creates a new track. I am using the Windows version if that matters…
I have tried a few times now and it just does not seem to work that way. It always creates a new track instead of using the named track from the template. What am I missing?
