Could someone post a link to the place where my song is supposed to go? Sounds lame, but I’m kinda lame these days…I’ve given it three tries and failed all three. And…what happened to my little avatar thingy in the corner? Now I look like a cover of a Yes album or something.

Yo Bubba? What are you mic’ing that fiddle with? Even after mp3’izing it still sounds pretty darn awesome! Of course it helps a heap that gal can play the begeebies out of it.

It is a BLUE Babybottle into an LA610 using a bit of the comp on the way in. I used the BLUE on the acoustic guitar too but into an UA4110. (And if you are really interested, I can give you the whole pre/mic laundry list for this tune.)

About the contest: I hate it that I can hear my tunes on a CD and then on the soundclick page with the mp3 it sounds like a bad car stereo or an old AM radio. Part of the appeal for most of us is the quality of the sound. Hey next year (when we do this contest again, like every summer?) we should have a huge CD swap so we can really hear it all good. I suppose someone is going to jump up and write about “lossless mp3 sampling etc.” Ok I’m listening.
