I agree about Moore but not Franken. He is biased but he attempts to get at the truth, although he doesn't always succeed as I mentioned. Did you read his book "Lying Liars"?
I like Franken because he at least attempts to be funny, although his show has gotgen less humerous & more serious lately, which I don't like.
Franken will admit that he's wrong but most of his show, is exposing right-wing lies, smears, etc. Have you ever listened to his show?

And yes... This thread went on without you, as did others, but what you might notice is a rather distinct (aside from an attempt at being funny by me) lack of politics, and a pretty good showing of gentlemanly behavior. Sheesh... We even got through a thread about religion without a major fight. And no, we didn't all agree, but the main thing is that we understand that it's OK for someone not to agree with us, and we don't feel compelled to try to force others to see things the way we do.

He is a source of entertainment, same as Franken, Moore, Hannity, Limbaugh.

Normally I don't bother, but something here clicked and pushed a button - I just felt I had to expose some ultimately pointless opinion in response to the pointless dribble.
But I do think we need to agree that the political dribble is pointless and if you don't agree then you shouldn't post a reply to my post, because we're all too stupid to know otherwise and I really feel that people's ignorance should be alleviated.

I started this thread because I think it right-wing press is way more biased than any supposed left-wing or liberal media. I still maintain that & I've proven in Drudge's case.
Franken is not press. O'Reilly, Drudge, etc., are press & I'll criticize them as such.
You are aplying a double standard. You can’t have it both ways. Drudge does nothing more than Franken does, and FRANKLY Big Al has an arguably bigger bully pulpit from which to do it!
