OK Diogenes, here is the midi file for the drums. Have at it.

Addictive Drums midi file

Awesome. Lemme see what we got here...

You guys rock!

D

Frickem-frackem, stooPID board software… can’t edit my own blinkin’ post??? ARGH!

Anyho, I’ll post the .rpp for you guys to peruse when I get home this evening.

D

Cool D.

EDIT: This edit happened 15secs after the original post! hehehe

EDIT #2 LOL T, I like what you put after this. TYT cool!

I actually edited a post after someone posted past this one.

EDIT#3 Hey, TYT could be pronounced “TITE”

Guys,

I’ve been doing some deep thinking…

Music by Tim, Yaz, and Tim. Initials T-Y-T.

If we were a band we could be called Tyt, and we could have fans screaming “We love Tyt”!

Pretty cool, huh?

T

Wait a sec, TYT = TITE,

hmmm, could be TIT.

If we go with TIT, we’ll need 4 more musicians with the intials of H-I-N-D !

On your feet, or on your knees, here they are the amazing

"HIND TYT"
:agree:

EDIT, was that over the top?

Nah, your comment is TOTALLY appropriate.

Hi guys,

HERE is a picture of the project…

HERE is the .rpp…

HERE is the little geetar part I put in there.

The .rpp is going to expect the .wav files to be in D:\Yaz\ so you may have to goober around a bit to get the files to load up. Oh… and you may have to delete Psycho-dither from the Master. The version I have is a Beta of the “Paid for” VST plugin. You can replace it with the JS version that comes with Reaper but you HAVE to put a limiter in front of it. If the level goes over 0db, the JS version goes into bypass mode.

As we say in these here parts… “Ya’ll holler if yun’s need help now, ya’ heah?” :D

D

PS The guys in Reaperville want to hear this ALL Reaper bundled plugin mix. I told them I would try to get permission to post a link or give ‘em a snippet to listen to. What say ye’ fellas? The thread in question is HERE.

Yo D, downloaded no problems here except the reverb and dither. Analyzing what you did, wow. Bass, upward expander. ?????

I have no problem with you guys doing anything ya want, post away if it’s ok with Mr. T.

Can’t call T, Mr., sounds like that 70’s show, the A team.

New name for T, Sir T.

Post away D. Be sure to point out that there actually two pieces of music discussed in the thread and that it is the second one that is of interest. Sir T? I never shoudla told Yaz that I’m older than he is :;):

I never shoudla told Yaz that I'm older than he is...

Guys age is just a relative thing... I don't make a big deal out of my birthdays... just as long as they keep coming around. I do remember being slightly bewildered when I realized I had turned thirty some fourteen years ago. With age comes wisdom I think. I've learned not to sweat the small stuff... and it's all small stuff!

Yaz, by bad dude... I forgot to post the impulse file for the verb! Also, I noticed that rpp is the one I had mixed a bit HOT on a few channels. I pulled everything down a bit to get some of 'em out of the red. It's not a big deal really because Reaper's internal engine is 64 bits and theoretically impossible to clip. Some plugins though, might distort if pushed too hard so I backed off a tad.

Have a great day guys! I'm off to the salt mine!!

D

Hey guys, no problem D on the impulse, I subbed one of mine just to play around with. I noticed it was hot on a couple tracks, no biggy. Been playing with plugs just to get a feel of them. COOL!

Age is all in the mind, trouble being my mind says I’m 85 today!

Ok, I’ve got about 8yrs on D, Sir T has about (?) on me. I didn’t tell Sir T.
But, we span almost 3 decades of age difference, the really cool part is we are colaborating on this tune. Music has to be the universal language. I think music could stop hate between nations, they just need to start recording!
:agree:

Just another Yazology there!

Music crosses many boundaries IMO. The Yazology is correct too. If people spent more of their energy on creating something rather than destroying something, this world would be a better place. I am a Christian… not a fundamentalist wack-job Christian mind you… I don’t have a thing against anybody else or their beliefs. It IS NOT my place to judge anybody. Nor is it their place to judge me or my beliefs. Why some wacko’s feel it is necessary to “convert them or kill them” is beyond me. Let’s write, play and record some good music, sit around and enjoy what little time we have on this little blue ball!

Amen Brother!

OK D, I redid some lead, left it blank for you to do the "immpossible guitar parts". Tickle my ears dude! Nothing added as far as effects, all dry.

The outro is a finger stretching exercise for you to try and play a dual lead maybe? Let me know what you think D!

Lead 2

I got it Yaz ol’ bean. I’ll try to give it a go this evening.

D

D

Try using the beat-sychronized tremelo JS effect that I coded on Yaz’s new lead track. Start with these settings:
Effect cycles per beat=4
Amount dB=-6
Stereo separation =0.8

To me it seemed especialy good on the outro, makes notes bounce back and forth from side to side in sync with the beat, and interacts interestingly with the note pattern Yaz is playing. I think that you will like what you hear. Yaz, another nice addition.

T

Hey T,

I’ll check that out. That’s one I haven’t messed with before.

I’ve been noodling a bit here… I’ll have a new mix up soon. I am very unsure about the guitars I added thus far. They don’t seem to “fit”… I dunno. I’ll post it anyway and you guys can tell me what you think.

OK MIX II 11-1-07

D

Hey T?

Is that effect shown as JS: Guitar\Tremolo? Or something different? I only have that one and PGMusic’s DX: Tremolo effect shown…

D

Guys.Still alive. Posting from my blackberry. No internet until 6th Nov. Lyrics finished.

Ian

Glad to hear from ya Bruffie! How did you post here using a piece of fruit? LOL!

D, holy moly, what don’t fit Mr. Fast Fingers! This sounds great. You got anything for the outro?
:agree: And D, will you post the solo so I can download? Or maybe after you add to the end.

The tremolo is one T programmed D, hang on a sec, I’ll find the link to it.

Sir T’s Tremolo

Edit, can’t wait to hear what Bruffie brings, this tune is getting to be AWSUM!

T, I tried the settings on the beat tremolo, pretty cool! :)
