If ya don’t score any goals… ya can’t expect to win a hockey game…
The NHL didn’t seem to be able to show the rest of the Hockey World how the game is Played…
However, there are a lot of NHL Players on the other teams…

Our boys had hockey garb and skates on… and all… but IT wasn’t hockey they were playing…
It looked like a new kind of game they are trying to develop…

I agree with you Bubba… I haven’t seen every team play in this tournment… But of the teams I’ve seen, it would be an upset if the Russians don’t come out, on top… Now, if it were a Two-out-of-Three… or a Three-out-of-Five… series, that would make for some interesting hockey… But a One-Game-Takes-All… Any team can come out “Flat” on hockey day/night…
The “BUZZ” around my neighbourhood, in the sports bars… was… They should’a had Sydney on one of those lines… Then it would have been a different team…
In my opinion… NO… Ya gotta pay your Dues to earn a place on the Bench… But yet, again… There were too many STARS sitting on the Bench on both the USA and Cannuck Benches…
Hockey isn’t a game played by STARS… Hockey is, a game that makes STARS… IT takes the whole bench to play a hockey game…

Exactly right, Bill!
Great individuals don’t make a team. Those guys need to be playing together as one unit for a lot longer than they have been - not just Canada. I think many of the teams that relied on NHL players had a problem with that. It kind of lowered the playing field for all of the teams, and opens the door for upsets – something we have seen. In a way it’s the teams that had the biggest stars that had the most trouble overcoming the fact that they aren’t a team in the classic sense.
This has been a peeve of mine since the USA started attempting to stack the deck with NBA players in the Summer Olympics. Look at that for the worst case scenario of what I’m talking about. Sure the USA Basketball team may win, but it’s not a something the USA should be proud of…and sometimes the team looses…WOW! I wonder how that could happen? After all, the team is FULL of STARS!
Youth and speed are the thng with the new rules. Youth and speed won these games. Best year of hockey in ages…

You’re only partly correct. I’ve been here but not posting too much. I’ve been moving to an apartment. It’s a long story. I just now got the internet working. Things are on the way back to normal. I’m very happy with the way things are turning out. (don’t ask for too many details yet)
Dr Phoo Studio will be one of the bedrooms in the apartment for now. I’ll be looking for a house that will have something suitable for real drums (real studio) as soon as possible. I really only missing the live drums.
I’ve got a few pictures, but they go with the details I’m not talking about yet.

How about those Cannuck Curlers? They’re All East Coasters… All but one of them are from “The Rock”… (Newfoundlanders)… Ron Howard’s home is in New Brunswick… What a Lesson-in-Curling, they put on… Good for them… For those of you who didn’t know… Everyone in Newfoundland took the afternoon off to watch the match… even, the school kids… Now, they are in the midest of the biggest snow storm this winter… What a north-easter they’re getting… they’re in for 2-2.5 feet of snow before it’s all over… They can have it… I don’t want it…

Hey, I thought the men’s US curling did a pretty good job, considering we’ve never won a medal! 
My father in law who lives in London Ont is a curling guy - fun watching with him - it was a great olympics for curling this time around! - we don’t get much of it here - my 7 yera old son now wants to curl - or do the luge - yeah, right, I don’t think so - we’ll see if there is a curling club here, but I doubt there is!

I have NO Cable here… I can only get what the CBC (Off Air) broadcasts locally, here… So, IT stands to reason. It’s Pro-Cannuck… It would have been nice to see how other countries determined what programing was broadcastable… Well…
Anyway, the CBC is pretty “Open-Minded” and unbiased…
I didn’t see any Pick-up trucks with “Speed Blades” replacing the tires… For the Red-Necks…
