Yep. I never made it to one of their games though. They don't advertise those like they do the semi-pro bunch. I'm not even sure what they are called these days... Used to be "The Huntsville Channel Cats". The team logo was a big ol' pointy whiskered channel catfish.
Google sez they are now "The Huntsville Havoc". I need to check 'em out again...

Well, over here we a gearing up for the IIHF World Hockey.
I have not been paying a lot of attention to the going’s on…
However, Center Halifax is gonna have a lot of people from around the world, in town…
The Canadian team was shown getting off the Airport bus on the supper-time news.
I believe the USA Team was shown loading into their hotel…
I think the first game of the Halifax series is Canada and the USA…
There was a team at the Cole Harbour Sports Plex this morning, so I hear…
doing some ice time…
I hear the ticket sales are going…

The Canada/US Game is Friday… I’m not sure how well this Halifax series is gonna be covered…
I understand that a lot of the Ottawa Bench is on the Canadian bench… They haven’t really gone public with the names…

Bill - if it’s Detroit and the Pens, I’m actually betting on the Pens. Crosby and Malkin and the rest are playing with joy, and nothing stops that. Well, other than injuries.

The Pens haven’t really been tested yet… The teams they have skated against have allowed them to skate… If they play the wings AND that could very well be… The Wings wouldn’t allow them to skate…
