Noh, you didn’t miss anything - the other night the Flyers were ahead 3-0 in the 3rd, and hatcher for no reason did what he often does - boarding, rather vicious - took a 5 minute and a game - and the Habs got 2 goals in that 5 minutes - could have cost Philly the game.

As a result of that play … Hatcher may not be on the Flyer’s Bench next season… ? That kind of play is a bad influence on the rest of the players on the bench… OR… Something like that…

If I were a betting person I’ll have to call it and the
Pittsburg Team in 6 - 7 games…
and get the opportunity to see the Stanly Cup for the second time in two years in a row…

And it’ll be OK if it happens - what a great story - worst team in the league two years ago - Malkin and Crosby and a bunch of other good players, and a great front office who trusted their coach when others would have fired him…

I’d have to say that I have not seen the Wings play this season as much as I’ve seen the Pen’s Games…
I don’t have any Cable or a Dish…
I only see what the CBC carries on Hockey Night In Canada…
I’ll agree…
If the Pens win this series I’d say we may see a lot more of this bench in the coming years…
That is, if the Kids don’t get “Cabin Fever” and let the Stanley Cup go to their heads…

The pens was taught a lesson on how to play Play-off Hockey…
It was a great match-up…

Yaz, age has easily kept up with youth. Truth is, some of Dee-troy-it’s players are pretty old, but a lot aren’t. I think the age/youth thing is a red herring. Now, experience vs. inexperience, that’s another question…

I didn’t stay up to see the end of the game… That was like 2 am local time…

I was surprised to hear it went to 3 overtime periods…
AND More surprised to hear that the Pens won…
Mallone took a bad injury when he took that puck to his face… I was surprised to hear he came back to the bench to finish the game…
That was a pivotal game for both benches… It’s gonna be interesting to see how both teams skate in the next game…
My observations of that game…
I saw the Pittsburg lines cough up the puck too many times in their end of the ice … AND, if they don’t fix that part of their game they wouldn’t see the Stanley Cup playing that style of Hockey.
I see the Kids playing with a Lotta Heart…
