I have a photobucket picture
Hey all I did a search first…and checked out faq
Could someone please give me a link to how to post a picture and Advitar…or just point me In the right direction

when it opens u will see a list on the right and choose “Avatar Options”… Toward the bottom of nxt
pg is a place to put your avatar image link.

Hi Levi...I had got that far...I have the problems with the copping of the picture and pasting It with that http:// thing
Where ever your image is uploaded to, they display it using a url = a web address. looks something like this.
http://www.hostedpics.com/dannerimages/avatar.jpg
<----that is what you copy and paste into the line of your nTrack account, avatar settings spot.
Sorry Danner there is no uploading pic’s here at nTrack like they do at so many forums.
You have to upload your pic somewhere else and add that url here at ntrack in your profile, avatar options spot.
R ya sain Danner is that you can’t copy and past the url?
The one you have there looks pretty cool.

I host avatars for folks that email them to me. You’ll need to send me an email and I will respond with an email address that you can then use to return an image as an attachment. I’ll check it out, and post it, and send the link back to you.

PhotoBucket probably doesn’t allow direct linking. I’ll be waiting, and will get to it soon as I can. Later tonight or tomorrow probably. Yer very welcome. Nice to be of service.

Under your ‘Account’ settings, there is a place to set your own avatar. Down at the bottom is an entry box for a custom avatar. Delete whatever is there and post the DIRECT link from Photobucket. Photobucket does allow deep linking. That’s where my current avatar is hosted. A.K.A. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y187/gtr4Him/ReapT.jpg

I tried It just the way you did…I get a message saying
"Sorry that Is not a valid file extension"
The pic Is a Jpeg…and Its under 100x100
I blue the link,right clic…copy…then delete the current avatar link…right click on It and paste
And still no luck
Hi Daner,
The file name for your picture is too long. The board software will not accept it. Shorten the pictures file name to “dudeonhorse.jpg” or similar and it will work. I think you can rename it right inside Photobucket.
“VCA8CRVAYCANLSOU1CAQRM9KLCAQVUU5DCA.jpg” is just way too long a file name!
Shoot padnah… you can use this link if you like. I’ll keep it on Photobucket for you. (And change mine back…)
